Perhaps the deepest record lyrically with observations on life and legacy and featuring some of the crunchiest rock riffs in the AOF canon, HTBA came out right around a terrible time for the music industry and indie bands. Naturally, it didn’t get the attention it deserved but screw it, it’s now considered one of the band’s finest releases or as Wheatus’ Brendan Brown called it, “a fucking masterpiece”. Featuring “Ava”, “America, You’re Breaking My Heart”, “Paperweight” and the fan favorite ballad, “Skyscrapers”.
